2013, The B2BGateway Year So Far - A Word From the CEO

As we approach the end of the 3rd quarter, 2013, I have had some time to reflect on the year 2013 as it has played out for B2BGateway so far. The year started off with an incredible sales hike, by the end of Q1 we were already 42% up on Q1 2012 and it hasn't let up since. With such phenomenal growth, quarter after quarter, year after year, we have had to make some changes both internally and externally to allow us to adopt so many new clients and to continue to give existing clients the high level of customer service that they deserve and we aspire to give. Here are some of the improvements we have delivered so far this year:

  1. Rapid Response Team (RRT)
    In June we introduced the Rapid Response Team, abbreviated to RRT. RRT was developed to enhance our existing support system and to reduce resolution times. This new system allows greater transparency for our clients in the task resolution process, however, feel free to reach out to your support engineer and they will be there to help resolve your issue as they always have.   2. New Trading Partner Setup Toolbar
    We have added a new Trading Partner setup toolbar to your Client Portal. Here clients can see the progress of all ongoing Trading Partner setups and when actions/responses are needed by the B2BGateway setup team.

  3. Instant Chat
    We have added a new Instant Chat feature to our website for greater ease of communication. New sales enquiries can use the Instant Chat feature direct from our website, while existing clients can use Instant Chat for support by logging into their Client Portal.

  4. New Staff and New Offices
    To keep up with the tremendous growth we have been on a hiring spree and have employed an additional 25% more staff and have leased additional offices in RI.

  5. New Partnerships
    B2BGateway has expanded our partnership program and has established exciting new partnerships with top tier firms such as Intacct, eBizNET, Intrepid Advisors, Grant Thornton and many, many more.

  6. Built for NetSuite
    B2BGateway was one of the first NetSuite partners to achieve 'Built for NetSuite' verification back in May.

  7. New Training Videos and Documents
    At B2BGateway we realize that your staffing needs may change and as such we have developed a host of new training videos and documentation that you can use to help train new staff or indeed just refresh your own needs. A list of training videos can be viewed by clicking here.

  8. Client Survey
    Last month we carried out a client survey to see how we were doing and what we needed to do to continue to provide our clients with the best solutions and support possible. Whereas it was great to get so many positive responses, some clients also told us of areas in which we needed to improve. We have taken note of these comments.
Although, I think you'll agree, the above list is quite extensive for the first 9 months of 2013, we continually strive to improve and add great new features. Next quarter we will be rolling out our new and improved Warehouse Support Site (WSS) which will continue to allow you to create GS1/UCC-128 labels but with some added new features and ease of functionality. We will also continue to add new Accounting Packages/ERP systems, new great partnerships and additional features.
