B2BGateway has implemented VMI for many of our clients over the years. VMI, simply put, is a family of business models in which the buyer of a product provides certain information to a supplier of that product and the supplier takes full responsibility for maintaining an agreed inventory of the material, B2BGateway helps our clients achieve this by triggering the purchase order when the min/max levels are reached. VMI is a great way for our clients to concentrate on sales and other aspects of their business, while B2BGateway manages the EDI.
