- 1-1/2 LB Turkey Burger(93% lean)
- 2 TBSP Sour cream
- ˝ cup breadcrumbs (more if needed)
- 1 package onion soup mix (opt: use half to cut down on sodium)
- 1 small onion
- Cheddar Jack sliced Cheese (Optional)
- Onion rolls or whatever you prefer
- Dijon mustard (optional)
In a medium size bowl, combine turkey with sour cream, breadcrumbs, and onion soup mix. Mix well. Feel free to add more breadcrumbs if needed. The turkey should stay together well. Shape into 4 large patties.
Cook on the grill, or broil. Broil for 5 minutes. Pack down with spatula, turn, and broil for another 5 minutes.
Sauté onions on medium heat until cooked, about 10 minutes.
Top with cheese and cook for another minute, until cheese is melted.
Top with onions, plop on rolls, drop on some Dijon mustard, and enjoy!

Avocado Mango Salsa Dip: Always a Hit at Parties!
|
- 1 Ripe Avocados chopped
- 1 Ripe Mango chopped
- 1 Vidalia onion diced
- 1 TBSP Olive oil
- 1small chili peppers diced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1-2 cloves garlic chopped or 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or 1 tsp honey
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Bag Tortilla chips or Sweet Potato chips
Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Top with salt and pepper to taste. I have made many variations of this recipe. I’ve substituted diced cucumber for tomatoes. I’ve adjusted the ingredients to make the dip a little sweeter, or spicier. I have also added some jarred salsa, and red peppers. It’s the avocado and mango that seem to make the dip, so feel free to experiment with the flavor!
You also may want to double/triple the recipe so you have some leftovers!

Oreo Cookie Balls: Use Caution...
|

|
|
- 1 Packages Oreo Cookies
- 1 Package softened Cream Cheese
- White Chocolate chips
- Red/green Sprinkles (opt)
Place Oreos in a big plastic bag for crushing. Then, put into food processor and blend until they are itty bitty crumbs. Put cookie crumbs aside. Add softened cream cheese to food processor and blend until smooth. Combine cookie crumbs and cream cheese in a large bowl. Then, the messy part…shape into balls, about the size of a golf ball. Cover a cookie sheet with Wax paper and line the up the balls. Place into refrigerator for 30 minutes. Melt chocolate chips, and dip each chocolate ball into the white chocolate, then sprinkles. Return to refrigerator until firm. Be very careful with these, they are deadly! Be sure to hide a few for the adults to have after the kids go to bed though.
